Neighbour Day - Paint The Square!

Neighbour Day in 2022 provides an opportunity for East Village to celebrate our community spirit, kindness, and resilience first seen in the flood of 2013 and through the pandemic. 

Our event this year will have food trucks, a local Latin music group (playing from 12:30pm to 2:30pm), and community involvement in painting a multi-coloured path through C-square using the pavers in the square to provide the pattern used in painting the path. Community members will be provided with the paint and painting supplies (rollers, long handles, etc.) to create the path. 

CMLC will be involved.  The Drop In Centre, carya, Central Library, National Music Centre (Studio Bell) are planning to participate in Neighbour Day.  As well Councillor Terry Wong has been invited and may drop by.

Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm 

Place: C-Square ("Celebration Square" is along the C-train tracks on Riverfront Lane between 6 & 7 Avenues SE)
