EV Street Fair 2023 - Volunteers

  • East Village - 8 AV SE between 6 ST & 5 ST SE & 5th Street Square

Registration

  • Must have First Aid & CPR Training. Will be "on call" while stationed at a booth during your shift
  • You would like to help out, but are not picky as to what role
  • Help with hauling and setting up signage, fencing, tables, tents, waste locations, etc.
  • Help with tearing down and hauling signage, fencing, tables, tents, waste locations, etc.

The East Village Street Fair is held annually on Canada Day - July 01, 2023, from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, (Along 8 Avenue SE, between 6 Street & 5 Street SE) 

EV Street Fair is a signature event attracting more than 50,000 visitors, with over 100 vendors, musicians and cultural performances. It’s no wonder we are Calgary’s destination event on Canada Day.

Calling all volunteers!

As a neighbourhood association, each year we are in need of volunteers to help us run the EV Street Fair. We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Set Up coordinator & support crew
  • Take Down coordinator & support crew
  • Family Area coordinator & support crew
  • First Aid/Lost Persons Booth coordinator & support crew (Must have First Aid & CPR Training)
  • Beer Garden set up, take down and general support during the event.

Volunteers will be scheduled their choice of 4-hour shift:

  • 06:00 - 10:00
  • 07:00 - 11:00
  • 08:00 - 12:00
  • 09:00 - 13:00
  • 10:00 - 14:00
  • 11:00 - 15:00
  • 12:00 - 16:00
  • 13:00 - 17:00
  • 14:00 - 18:00
  • 18:00 - 21:00 (Beer Garden only)

Also, we will be holding information sessions/training for all coordinator positions in the two weeks prior to the event.
