    Lunch is provided free to EVNA resident members and one guest! (Please let us know of any dietary restrictions in the registration form)

    "Guest Registration" is for EVNA members with children who will be attending the picnic; this is so we have an accurate count of attendees for lunch orders.

Information Session with Bike Calgary

When: Saturday, May 25th from 9:30am to 11:00am
Where: East Village Riverwalk at Crossroads Junction (near the East Village dog park and community garden).

All are welcome to bring your bike and learn from the pros:

  • Tips on what is required as basic maintenance for a bicycle and how to do it; i.e. lubrication, tire pressure, etc..
  • What things to look for during a basic safety check of a bicycle before riding it.
  • How to secure a bicycle when stored and also when out riding.
  • Registration with Bike Index

Ride & Picnic

When: Saturday, May 25th

  • Cyclist Ride from 10:30am to 12:30pm
  • Family Ride from 11:45am to 12:30pm

Where: Meet up at East Village Riverwalk Crossroads Junction ("Wheel of Women" at the south end of George C. King bridge)
Who: EVNA Resident Members & their children (registration required)

From our meet up area take one of two bike rides: a shorter family ride or a longer cyclist's bike ride along the Bow River and end up on St. Patrick’s Island where you will be provided a picnic lunch.  Routes and destination will be provided at the event.

Open to East Village Neighbourhood Association members and families only and will require registration.
