EV Street Fair 2024 - Volunteers Registration

  • You would like to help out, but are not picky as to what role
  • Help with hauling and setting up signage, fencing, tables, tents, waste locations, etc.

The East Village Street Fair is held annually on Canada Day - July 01 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, (Along 8 Avenue SE, between 4th Street & 6th Street SE) and the Beer Garden runs from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM in 5th Street Square SE.

EV Street Fair is a signature event attracting more than 50,000 visitors, with over 100 vendors, musicians and cultural performances. It’s no wonder we are Calgary’s destination event on Canada Day.

Calling all volunteers!

As a neighbourhood association, each year we are in need of volunteers to help us run the EV Street Fair. We are looking to fill the following positions:

  • Set Up coordinator & support crew
  • Take Down coordinator & support crew
  • Family Area coordinator & support crew
  • Info Tent Volunteers
  • Beer Garden set up, take down and general support during the event.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided to all volunteers.  Volunteers will be scheduled with their choice of shift.

  • 06:00 - 10:00  Street Fair Set Up - 4 people
  • 10:00 - 14:00   Family Area - 2 people
  • 14:00 - 18:00   Family Area - 2 people
  • 10:00 - 14:00   Info Tent - 2 people
  • 14:00 - 18:00   Info Tent - 2 people
  • 18:00 - 22:00   Street Fair Take Down - 4 people
  • 10:00 - 14:00   Beer Garden - 4 people
  • 14:00 - 18:00   Beer Garden - 4 people
  • 18:00 - 21:00   Beer Garden  - 4 people
  • 21:00 - 22:00   Beer Garden Take Down - 4
